London, pubs & real talks: how Betatransfer did iGB Live

This time, the Betatransfer team showed up with fresh energy — our new Business Development Manager, Andrea Balod, joined the ranks. And no soft landing — his first gig with us was one of Europe’s top iGaming conferences.
But of course, we didn’t stop at meetings and negotiations. Everyone knows real connections are made beyond the expo halls. That’s why we threw a proper gastro pub crawl for our clients and partners. Two nights in a row, July 1st and 3rd, we toured London’s best rooftop pubs. Killer views, good drinks, real conversations — exactly how we like it.
Naturally, we couldn’t resist grilling Andrea on his first proper iGaming adventure with Betatransfer.
— So, Andrea, first event with Betatransfer — how was it?

In short — better than I expected. I knew iGB Live was a big deal, but the atmosphere? Even better. London’s made for this kind of event — everything’s close, everyone knows each other, it’s easy to connect.
And the pub crawl? That was its own kind of success. You get to know partners properly, without the formalities. I bet people will remember those evenings just as much as what happened on the expo floor.
— What were the hot topics this year?

Regulation, for sure. All eyes are on the UK — the Gambling Act Review, stricter checks, player protection. The regulators mean business.
Brazil’s another one — six months into regulation, and companies are figuring out how to adapt and stay ahead.
And of course, gamification and player retention. Everyone’s chasing engagement. And payments? They’re at the heart of it. The smoother the payment process, the more loyal your players.
— What’s driving the most demand right now?

Crypto’s holding strong. Binance Pay is still one of the most requested solutions. With our Binance Pay integration, clients get speed and rock-solid conversion — which is exactly what they need.
