Malta, heat and champagne. All about SiGMA Euro-Med
SiGMA never goes quiet, but this time Malta turned the volume all the way up. From September 1–3, we welcomed partners and friends at our brand-new booth — right at the entrance, where the action never stopped. Fresh design, a constant flow of visitors, champagne by the crate. Pure mix of business and party vibes.
Our signature touch — Hawaiian shirts with Mexican skulls. They instantly became a hit. We even spotted people rocking them around Malta after the show. Can’t ask for better promo than that.
Now let’s hear from Ivan, our new manager, for whom SiGMA was the very first big event with Betatransfer.
— Ivan, how was it to dive into your first major event with the team?
Ivan, BDM Betatransfer
It was pure adrenaline. Everything moves fast: you meet someone, and minutes later you’re already talking specifics. Our booth was a magnet, impossible to miss. The vibe was easy-going, people were open, and connections happened naturally.
It was also a big milestone for the team. Betatransfer won the SiGMA Award as Best Payment Provider. That’s proof we’re on the right track and fuel to keep pushing harder.
— What stood out the most at SiGMA Euro-Med?
Ivan, BDM Betatransfer
The contrast. Days full of meetings, partnerships, and deals. Evenings packed with laughs, relaxed networking, and good energy. And yes — those shirts brought their own unique vibe. From day one, I felt like part of the crew.
— What topics dominated the conversations?
Ivan, BDM Betatransfer
A lot of focus on our CIS solutions — Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan. But LATAM and the EU also drew strong attention. Luckily, we’ve got solid ready-to-roll products for those regions too.
— What’s next for Betatransfer?
Ivan, BDM Betatransfer
Next stop — SBC Lisbon. We’ll be there with our booth and a private Cloud9 Unplugged party for our partners. Hit up our managers for details — I promise it’ll be wild.
And one more bit of good news: in 2025, SiGMA Euro-Med moves to March. Perfect timing, because grinding under Malta’s blazing +35°C sun is brutal. Spring will be much smoother and more productive.
