Queues, hot merch, and a new team star: Betatransfer at SBC Lisbon
SBC Lisbon is behind us, but the energy is still buzzing. For Betatransfer, it wasn’t just another date on the calendar — it was proof that people know us, wait for us, and want to work with us. This time we were right in the spotlight: our booth had a steady line, the merch was gone in minutes, and questions about our solutions just kept coming. The perfect moment to introduce you to our newest star — Natalya. It was her very first SBC with Betatransfer, and she’s already soaked up the vibe and the spirit of the team.
— Natalya, your first SBC Lisbon. How was it?
— Yes, it was my first time at SBC in Lisbon, though I’ve been to iFX and ICE before with other teams. Honestly, I loved it! Everyone in our team is super supportive — it really felt like being part of one big energy flow.
— How did you see the company’s presence at the event?
— We stood out a lot. For me, the best indicator was that people were literally lining up at our booth, while other companies were already wrapping up after 3 PM. We had merchants, payment partners — everyone wanted to connect. Many already knew the Betatransfer name and wanted to learn more about our solutions.
— What topics came up most often?
— Asia for sure — especially our India solution — and Latin America. But there were also some unexpected requests, like Iran. Of course, we don’t have that setup, but it’s crazy to see where the market is heading and what people are asking about. At the same time, everyone knows our strong positions in CIS and the EU.
— And how did the merch go?
— The merch was a total hit! Hoodies and tees were gone instantly. That’s part of the brand too — it’s awesome that people want to wear Betatransfer.
— Let’s talk about the afterparty.
— Cloud 9 Unplugged was exactly what we wanted it to be: intimate, laid-back, with music, shisha, and cocktails on point. Stylish but still cozy and warm.
— Where’s the next stop for Betatransfer?
— Next up is SiGMA Rome. This time with the full squad and an even bigger booth.
